Our pallet delivery process

How pallet delivery works

Most full orders of brick slips, brick slip corners and stone cladding are heavy, so they are sent through a pallet company to protect the boxes in transit.

  • Deliveries are made by a pallet company using a rigid vehicle with a tail lift and an onboard manual pallet truck.
  • Truck sizes can vary from approximately 18–28 tonnes, so please tell us before ordering if access may be difficult.
  • Large stone cladding orders over 16 square metres may be sent by crate for safer delivery.
  • All box and corner orders are sent by pallet service, regardless of quantity.

Delivered to your kerb

Kerb-side delivery explained

Brick slips and stone slips are delivered kerb-side only. This means the driver will place the pallet at the nearest suitable hardstanding point where it is safe and possible to unload.

  • We and our delivery companies are not insured to enter your property.
  • It is not the driver’s job to carry goods into your house, garden, garage or project area.
  • Pallet trucks can only operate on a flat, smooth surface such as tarmac or concrete.
  • Gravel drives may require you to split the consignment and move boxes by hand from the truck or nearest hardstanding point.

Courier callThird-party couriers are asked to call around one hour before delivery, but this call is at their discretion.
Samples and small orders

Sample delivery information

Samples are delivered free of charge so you can check the colour, texture and finish of your preferred brick slips or stone cladding before committing to a larger order.

If a sample order includes corner pieces, the corner may be refunded or a pallet charge invoice may be required because corner pieces are larger and can be more difficult to send safely by small courier.

Before you order

Check access before delivery day

  • Please contact us before placing an order if your address has HGV restrictions, weight limits, or loading restrictions.

Brick slips and stone cladding delivery UK

Planning a brick slip or stone cladding delivery

When ordering heavy decorative walling products online, delivery is part of the project plan. Our brick slips collection includes brick tiles, brick cladding and corner pieces that are normally delivered by pallet service for safer handling.

Before ordering UK brick slips for a fireplace, kitchen, feature wall, exterior wall or living room project, check that a large vehicle can safely access the delivery address. For stone slips and stone cladding, larger orders can be heavier and may need crate delivery.

Important notes and FAQs

Delivery questions answered

Can I track my pallet delivery?

Pallet deliveries are not timed or fully trackable. We send a notification no later than the evening before delivery and the normal delivery window is 8am–5pm.

Does someone need to be home?

Yes. All deliveries require a signature, so someone needs to be present at the delivery address when the pallet arrives.

Will the driver bring the pallet inside?

No. Drivers are not insured to enter your property and are not obliged to carry goods. Delivery is kerb-side to the nearest suitable hardstanding point where possible.

What if I have a gravel drive?

Pallet trucks can only operate on flat, smooth surfaces such as tarmac or concrete. On gravel drives, you may need to split the consignment and move it by hand.

How are samples delivered?

Samples are delivered free of charge. If a sample order includes corner pieces, the corner may be refunded or a pallet charge invoice may be required.

Why might products arrive damp or darker?

Products are sent as soon as they are manufactured to improve delivery speed. They may arrive darker or damp and can take 1–2 weeks to dry to their finished colour.

What happens if delivery fails?

Failed delivery, re-delivery, return delivery and re-route charges may apply. Re-delivery costs start from £60 and diverted deliveries are charged at £80.

Should I book an installer before delivery?

No. We accept no third-party liability, so do not book an installer until your goods have arrived, been inspected and match the product ordered.
